A summer book club on ‘The Anxious Generation’ by Jonathan Haidt will be led by Pastor Keith during the months of June and July. His target audience is parents, grandparents raising grandchildren, guardians or anyone else wanting to know more about the substantive research concerning the psychological damage of a phone-based life. Haidt is a social psychologist who has spent a major portion of his career studying this ‘public health emergency.’ This is not a ‘Christian’ text per se, but certainly one Pastor Keith believes Christians should consider. Haidt also offers helpful tools to combat this problem.
